Playing our hometown was a great way to end our tour/a year and 3 months of touring straight. The show was at the Granada Theater and was a packed house! It's always so nice to play for the loyal tx fans/friends! Thanks to those who drove from austin/houston/san antonio/okc etc. It was an epic show, one of the very best dallas shows ever and so much fun, thanks so much Dallas, we love you!!

In Phoenix we played at the Brickhouse which was right next to the Phoenix Suns basketball game so traffic was a bit crazy! This was the last show for Paramore on the tour and it was sad to see them go :( They were so fun on tour and awesome people. Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and had an awesome time! This time to San Diego we played at SOMA in the big room! It was sold out and an amazing show! Over a thousand people, crazy awesome. It was a crazy show full of a few surprises. When bryce crowd surfed it became so crazy that a section of the crowd fell down pulling bryce down with them. It was very scary and very rock and roll. Later in the set Paramore ran out during "Im doing everything for you" and rocked out with the band. It was a wonderful show, thanks san diego!

This was the first time for the rocket summer to play at the complex in Memphis. The Complex had really good mexican food which was awesome because we hadn't had it in a while. It was a very pleasant surprise to see our friend/fan Sarah from Iowa City. She is a true rocket summer fan because she has a tattoo of the rocket summer drum set on her wrist! It is awesome. Anyways, thanks to Sarah for driving 10 hours to the show. It was a great show and we hope to be back soon!

This was the first time for TRS to play Cornerstone Florida and it was definately worth playing! It was pretty sweet getting to see some of out friends like Copeland and Transition. The Rocket Summer played at about 5:30pm and it was a sucess! Thanks for all those who came to check out TRS and liked what they saw/heard. It means alot to have such supportive fans. We wont be back to florida for a while because Bryce will be going to make a new record after this tour so it was good to see you all again!

Bamboozle was CRAZY AWESOME!!! It was a sold out festival of 25,000 people in the Giants stadium parking lot! The day was filled with great bands ,friends, sunshine and The Rocket Summer. TRS played the Riot Squad stage at about 6:30pm and they had an amazing time. The crowd was so responsive and everyone definately kept me busy at the merch table! I was so swamped i didnt even have time to catch any of the other bands playing :( Thats alright, its a good thing! Thanks so much for everyone who watch the rocket summer and liked what they saw!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! The knitting factory show was off the hook! It was sold out before the doors opened and it was crazy! Everyone there was having a good time dancing and singing along. So the last time TRS was supposed to play Canada our van broke down in NJ and we had to cancel the shows which was last October. This time we made it! The show in Toronto was at the Mod Club in a really sweet area in Toronto. The show was over sold out and there was some good crowd surfing done by Bryce! We had a day off after the show so we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo and saw so many sweet animals! My favorite was the polar bear. He kept swimming in circles, i think he was bored! So St.Louis was the first show of our month and a half long Headlining Tour of the US and Canada!!! The first week of the tour is with Transition, Brandtson, and Daphne Loves Derby. The show at the Hi Pointe was pretty sweet. All of the TRS fans/friends were having a great time singin along and dancing. Requests were taken and This Is Me was played with Matt (our video guy) on the tambourine, Jed (the bass player ) on guitar, an Me on bass! It was so much fun!

On our day off, we went to Fairmount, IN, the home of James Dean. We went to his highschool, his house, his church, his grave, and even met one of his friends from highschool who told us stories about him. It was crazy and somewhat of a dream come true for Bryce. (Bryce even wrote his highschool senior paper on James Dean!) The next day we drove to St. Louis and went to a Cardinals game. It was a pretty fun 2 days off!

We had an awesome 2 and a half week break but we were ready to get back on the road! We played a show in Marion IN at the Indiana Wesleyan University and it was surprisingly AWESOME! It was actually the first time TRS has ever played Indiana and the crowd was awesome, large, and extremely pumped. So the last day of the Relient K, Rocket Summer, Maxeen tour has come :( It has been the best tour yet for TRS and it has been so great touring with such great friends of ours!
The show was at the famous Newport Music Hall and was a great last show! Tommy, our drummer, had a family emergency and had to fly home and missed the show so Jay, the drummer for maxeen, was kind enough to learn 4 of the songs to fill in for Tommy and play. It worked out great! During Relient K's set, we filled up all of our confetti blasters and during Sadi Hawkins song we shot them all off! It was sweet. We really can't thank RK enough for taking us out! We love you guys and thanks to everyone who came out to the shows and rocked out!!!

During TRS's set, there was alot of crowd surfing going on and there was a guy who had his friends throw him into the air and he did a back flip into the crowd! It was a bit sketchy. Atlanta fans are crazy!!! Eveytime we come to Atlanta it is always an amazing time, and once again at the Masquerade, it was great! I think that during the rocket summer's set, two thirds of the crowd had there hands up in the air the whole time! For this tour, we have been renting an RV. It has been so nice to have room to stand up and walk around in the RV compaired to the van we have used up until this tour. The reason the RV is so nice is because we have many lengthy drives , for example from Oklahoma City to Houston it was about 8 hours for us. The Houston show was unexpectedly amazing! It was a sold out show of about 1400 people and everyone was feelin the music. It was nice to see friends and family in Houston along with a late Taco Cabana stop! We hope to see all of you awesome TRS fans again soon

When we were in Las Vegas, we stayed at The Flamingo Hotel right on the strip! It was such a nice hotel and alot of fun even though i personally only gambled $5 at a slot machine and lost. The first time for The Rocket Summer to play LasVegas proper was this time! It was an awesome show at Jillian's and so great to meet everyone. Bryce and Co. rocked really hard this night. So Vancouver was the last Canada show on the Relient K tour. The mountains were so beautiful to drive through even though it was snowy. On the way to Vancouver, we saw a moose on the side of the road! It was amazing and huge! The show at the Culture center was pretty crazy with some crowd surfing involved.

Again, this was the first time for Bryce and Co. to play in Edmonton. The show was at what i think was North America's largest mall. It had a waterpark, tons of stores, a live seal show and many clubs and restaurants! It was fun because we were able to walk around before the show started. At Red's , confetti was flyin and there was some dancin going on! Other than the fact that it was snowing massively and colder than i've ever felt outside, it was an awesome time.

This was the first time for TRS to play Nagoya. We got to take a nice ride on the bullet train and got to see some countryside ! The show hat night ws at Club Quattro an was on the 8th floor of a building inside a huge shopping mall! The show was great and we got to meet some great new people.

So it has been over 2 years since Bryce has been back to Japan. He had been 3 times in the past and has been embraced there! This time to Japan was just as amazing! The first show was in Tokyo at the LiquidRoom. It was so much amazing watching how differently the Japanese act during a show compared to Americans. During each song, they dance and clap and everything but once the song is over, they are completely quiet and you could hear a pin drop! The show was so much fun! Domo Arigato Tokyo!

So, The Rocket Summer did a special college show at Harding University with Copeland and Cartel! I think there were about 2,000 people and it was such a good show! Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had to fly out of Little Rock the next morning at 5am for Japan! It was worth it though.

The show at The Gypsy Tea Room was a special acoustic show. It was sold out a few days before the show and there were people scalping tickets outside the day of the show!! weird! The show was very intimate and special because Bryce played for about an hour and a half to two hours and during this set, he brought people on stage to sit and sing along whom had driven or flew to the show! A few songs after bringing up those people, Bryce had them switch with other people in the crowd to come on stage and sing. It was such an interactive show that i know anyone there will not forget, i know i wont! Thanks Dallas...

Unfortunately, my camera was not working in Detroit so i couldnt get any pictures at the Magic Stick show. The show was so much fun! During the last song that Hellogoodbye plays, we all run up on stage in some form of costumes and dance. Most of the time people in the crowd join in on stage and dance too! Its always exciting! TRS rocked the crowd and kept the dance party hoppin!

So Philadelphia definately got its dose of The Rocket Summer and Hellogoodbye! The first show at Theatre of Living Arts was at 12 noon! Yes, that's right, just after lunch (for us breakfast)! The first show was sold out and everyone there was having such a great time even though it was early! The second show THAT SAME DAY started at 6pm and was just as amazing! Once again it was sold out ! By the end of the night everyone was exausted but in a good way!
The next day, there was one more TLA show at 6pm and it was a bit more intimate. Thank you sooo much Philly for coming out and making the 3 shows worth it! See you soon

As you can see in the pictures of our van and trailer, we got snowed in over night on our way to Rochester! When we woke up in the morning it had snowed about 6 inches! We had never seen anything like that before. It took us about 4 hours, with chains on the tires, to get out of the parking lot, but we finally made it to Rochester! The show was an awesome show! Thanks to everyone for sticking it out and coming even though the weather was sketchy!

The drive to Obsessions Nite Club in Randolph New Jersey was very interesting. Mostly when we go to venues, they are about 2 minutes off of a highway or in a big city. On the way to Obsessions, we drove about 45 minutes through very small town and arrived in the middle of nowhere at the club! We were worried that the location would mean not many people showing up but we were wrong! The show was sold out at about 650 people and it was a great show!! As you can see in the pictures, it was VERY humid inside so it was hard to get pictures. Thanks NJ! Hope to see you soon...

So, during the day before the show, TRS went to Panera Bread and had lunch. That night was the show at The Social Orlando and it was very sold out and was amazing! The TRS fans/friends are so great and always have a good time! Right after TRS played, Matt our video guy, Tommy the drummer and I started to not feel so good. We all had to run to the bathroom and threw up( a total of 12 times each that night). Unfortunately, we all got food poisoning from the sandwiches we ate that day for lunch. Thanks so much to my friend Kelly for selling merch the rest of the night for me. Thanks to everyone who came out and for making Orlando an awesome place to play! (The next day we recovered pretty much from the food poisoning!)

So after the Houston show on the 19th, we had to drive straight back to Fort Worth to shoot the Brat Pack Video! The video shoot was so much fun. Thanks to Sam Parnell for letting us use your house for the party scene. The video turned out amazing and it was just released on the internet for all to see! Thanks to those TRS friends who came out for the shoot and stayed ALL day to make it such a good video!

This was the best time so far for TRS to play Houston! Everyone at the show was getting into the music and having a good time! This was the last show of our 7 week long headlining tour. We had such a great time hanging out with and getting to know Socratic, Sherwood, This Day and Age, and Adam Richman. I know we made some life long friends from this tour! This was the first time for Bryce and Co. to play at Bricktown Live. When we first pulled up to load in our gear, we walked into the club and it was a very much so honky tonky club. The bar seats were saddles! We were very suprised that we were playing at this country bar. A guy who worked at the bar walked up to us and said, "yall dont look like the band that is supposed to play here tonight". Bricktown was the next club over! We were in the wrong place. So our van died while we were on our way to New York City, so we had to have a tow truck tow us to the Knitting Factory so that we could make it for the show! The show was sold out and so amazing! After the show we had to wait to be towed again which didnt happen until 10am the next day so we slept in the van. The van is ok now but for 4 days we were stuck in New Jersey and we had to cancel all of the Canada shows. We are so sorry to anyone who was planning on going to any of the Canada dates! We will be there soon though to make up those shows hopefully! Thanks for your support.
